Hi! My name is Emily Dorsey and I recently graduated with my B.A. in Professional Writing from Western Carolina University in December 2017. Throughout my life, I have always had a strong passion for photography. My work commonly involves natural things, but I do branch out to other focuses. This is where my inspiration came from when I was creating a name for my photography “Life’s Perspective Photography”. I like to capture ordinary things and make them extraordinary by creating unique perspectives.

    In my work, I create unique perspectives by using various photography techniques. Some of my favorite techniques include depth of field and macro photography. I love capturing the small things, because I believe the small things can mean much more than the large things in numerous occasions.

    After looking at my work, I hope the viewer walks away with a new idea about the subjects they saw in my pictures. I want to show people how you can branch out and see the beauty in everything, even the simplest object or most ordinary setting.
